Our carers are carefully selected, interviewed and thoroughly checked before any placement is offered to them.

Their ages range from 35 to 70 years, some may be retired nurses/ auxiliaries and others with little experience but wanting to care for others. Advice and guidance is given on relevant training courses.

Carers are special people, they all have one main aim to care for and enhance the quality of life of an elderly or sick person, giving emotional and physical support.

(It is important to emphasise that a carer is not a cleaner and where possible the agency suggests that a part time cleaning person is employed)

Carers are normally booked for 1 or 2 weeks at a time after which time they will hand over personally to the next one, making sure that the care continues if needed.

The selected carer will contact the client or client’s representative prior to the booking.

Carers require some time off during the day. This is normally for 2-3 hours.
